The property is located directly on the edge of the sea in the south of the Peloponnese south of Kalamata. In the neighborhood there are a few other houses, which are mostly not permanently inhabited, but are used by the owners as private holiday homes.
This house, originally built approx. in 1950, is of a simple construction and stands out due to its unique location on a relatively large plot in the front line and thus close proximity to the sea. From the garden and the veranda are only a few steps to the water.
The property consists of a plot of approx. 500 m², which is partly slightly sloping and can be reached via a gravelly side street. It is planted with citrus trees, oleanders and roses and the house is right on the property line to the sea.
The house has two independent living levels.
The ground floor is accessible from the sea side via a semi-covered, oblong porch and the entrance door. This leads directly into the tiled living room, from which on the right hand side are two very small bedrooms, which also have tiled floors. In the rear area of the living room are located on a, with tongue and groove board covered wooden pedestal and accessible via a multi-level wooden staircase, a kitchenette, a dining area and next to a bathroom. Underneath is storage space.
Accessible from outside with separate door, the ground floor also offers a small storage room for washing machine etc.
The upper floor can be reached via a brick external staircase from the back garden side.
For access to the upper floor there are two solid wood doors, one of which leads directly into the small kitchen with modern built-in furniture; right next door the dining room. The second entrance door directly above the corner next to the first leads into a long corridor from which two doors lead to the right into two bedrooms, to the left of which is the already mentioned dining room. In the extension of the corridor, which also makes a left turn - thus behind the dining room - is the small, modern renovated bathroom with shower. In addition, a built-in wardrobe. Straight away the hallway leads into the large living room, which extends over the entire width of the house and thus completely aligned to the sea side. A central wing door leads from here to a small balcony with unimpeded fantastic views of the water and the coast line. The floors of the upper level are, apart from the kitchen and bathroom, wooden floorboards.
To the side of the house there is, facing the sea and elevated to this, a fortified seating area, lined with roses.
All doors, window frames, shutters and railings are made of solid wood, mostly painted blue, the windows are simply glazed.
The electricity and water supply takes place via public networks.
